Instinct Solar keeps shutting down and can’t record any activities.

  1. My Instinct Solar constantly crashing and can’t record any activities. It seems to have developed the fault after an software update. It is just over two years old but I think a watch of this price should last a lot longer. Does anyone know the best course of action to take to resolve?
  • Yep... You too. So only way to slove this problem is contact to seller and exchange device for new one. Then you should block automatic update. I did it. Software version of new one is 17.01 and is working perfect.

I read most of the topic abut this issue on this forum... Unfortunately is very common problem :(

  • Same here! it shut down while I was snowboarding 5 days ago! Everything seemed normal but no data recorded. I'm missing 5 runs. It did somehting that was neither a lift nor a run and then just stopped. It was doing fine until a week ago.

  • that doesn't fix the issue! We are not paying $400 for a watch to turn all settings off just to avoid bugs and problems. It is their job to fix these. They are the experts and engineers. I'd fix it myself if I could but that is not an argument nor point. Do you really think he or she can return it after 2 years??
