Garmin keeps switching off?

When running, garmin switches off, esp at mile 1 and 3. Battery at 15 days.

As I wrote multiple times, the last software update for Instinct 1st gen was more than a year ago. If you saw any other updates recently, it was nothing else than updated time zone table, or something…

Had to buy a new watch. But now think it was the charger or battery display eg giving incorrect battery charge reading, saying 100% when it wasn't. Wish I'd thought to buy a new charger to try.

Last firmware update of Instinct Solar was more than a year ago. Do you really mean that?

Many cases of Instinct shutdowns are caused by a faulty vibrator motor drawing too much current. Try disabling vibrations in the System settings, and see whether it helps.
