What is this symbol on the Garmin inReach MINI?

I have a Garmin inReach MINI that is not working and is not able to connect to Garmin Express. When turned on, it displays the following symbol that is not tabulated in the manual or symbols list. I assume it means that the battery is overheated or something to that effect, but it would be nice to have clarity.

I don’t have the device, but my hunch is it is to indicate the battery is too hot for charging. Hence the use of the typical battery symbol. The semi-circle to the left represents the sun. Some agreement at Too hot symbol. Read the entire thread, especially the content by “Garmin-Andrew” near the bottom.

If you cannot connect to Express, the workarounds in the other thread cannot be done. You'll probably have to open a support ticket.

Strange. I also would guess it is saying: device battery to hot or something like that.

This symbol (normally) occurs when the unit is too hot to take a charge. Is the unit meanwhile working again (if not I would assume a battery problem)? If not: contact the Garmin support via Email or phone.
