After trying reset, connect,disconnect , change in battery, BLE, ANT connecion etc for fenix 5 and 4iiii 5 months, I found out that my fenix 5 cant handle input from both.

Today ride with your suggested setting. Not reliable in connection.( I also did downgrade and upgrade as suggested by the other guy)
