My Fenix5 watch stopped charging. After checking the charging cable, which seemed fine, I checked the charge port in the watch. It appears that one of the pins has broken off. Any idea how to fix this?

The corrosion of pin 2 is well known design flaw. Search for "pin corrosion" and you'll see many threads about this, e.g.

Anyway, contact Garmin and hear what they say for that.
You've only the options
1) repair or replacement of the watch by Garmin

Contact Garmin and usually they exchange the watch.
Thanks but I don’t think it’s corroded. It looks to be broken off.

Have you been in a war? I do not think Garmin would repair (for free) a warrior’s watch...
This is typical pin corrosion result as Subra stated above. Some folks have the sweat which is somehow more aggressive and this happens. The second pin usually corrodes the most. If the watch is still in warranty you get it exchanged for free, if not, they do it for 2 or 3 hundred bucks.
Apparently even more corrosive than my comment, but according with its photos, the use is much more agressive... ;)
As I remember, charging is done via 1st and 4th pins. I had charged my Fenix 5X by sticking some cables to those pins and it did well. So your issue may be different. Check the charge cable, if springs on the 1st and 4th pins work well or if it has other defect. Or contact Garmin.
