Fenix 5x does not connect to windows 10

Hi all, I have been trying for months but I still not able to connect my garmin fenix 5x to a PC.

I followed many instructions, official and unofficial, I tried also on different PCs and with two cables, always the same result.

I tried also setting "Mass Storage" or "Garmin" on Fenix USB settings.

When I connect the Fenix 5X to ma PC the only thing that happens is that the start charging, nothing else (not even a beep on the PC), the computer does not see any device connected, the device manager does not refresh so there are no new elements.

I'm struggling for a year and I thought that was a fenix firmware problem and was hoping that will be solved with an update but the problem is still the same.

I don't know what to do next, anyone found a solution?

I have solved the problem my self by uninstalling and reinstalling Garmin Express and Garmin USB drivers.

If you have been trying for a year it is safe to say that this is not a wide spread issue as the forum would be full of these threads. If you have tried it on two PCs, with two different cables then it is most likely a watch issue (although you could just have really bad luck with cables). The watch needs to be in mass storage mode so check this ( and check that your testing with multiple cables and PCs has been when in this mode). Take a close look at the pins on the watch to make sure one or more are not corroded or broken. After this it may be time full a full reset of the watch (which does mean you need to set everything back up again).

Same issue here. I tryed with different computers (Mac, windows, etc) and different cable. Is there any solution?

After today's upgrade to Garmin Express 7.1.3.0 I'm also no longer able to connect to my PC...

I can hear the USB connection to the PC but no opening the folder or connection to Garmin Express.

Garmin - Chrishas the solution?

With IObit uninstaller.
