I'm on iOS 13.1.2, same problems as described here (I have Fenix 5S plus). The only way I can sync is by plugging my phone into my laptop and using Garmin Connect. Very annoying
Same here. iOS 13.2 and iphone 11 pro, complete ballsup. Loosing connection, wont sync until you restart watch, even then I sometimes have to restart the phone or switch bluetooth off and on again. Glitchy as. Unpaired and removed bluetooth connection then reconnected and everything was dandy for a few hours. Then gone again. I'm not going to waste time doing this again as I I had to re add my cards to garmin pay again.
Is it iOS or Connect thats the issue?
So is there a solution yet mine connects but won’t sync data
Based on what I gathered around the internet this was introduced sometime around the latest GC app update and/or iOS update (I have the same problem - Fenix 5 connects to my iPhone, receives notifications but the sync process times out). Looks like we'll need to wait for the next app update.
It’s bloody frustrating but it doesn’t seem to do it with every watch ,my mate has a F5 and iPhone 11 too with no issues
Issue same here on Fenix 5x Plus and IOS 13.2. Simply will not sync probably. Only via pc and cable! Any tricks that you've found to work?
My watch is a WiFi version. It syncs fine via WiFi if I choose to do so manually. But rather would have it kept working with GC!
Support garmin told me "it's a GC problem... we have to wait update GC"
‘Tks for the info just wish Garmin had put out a communication it would of saved a lot of time and effort for us all.
