So far 14.20 has been positive for me with the battery. Doing spot checks shows it back to .3 percent per hour and staying consistent.

Still 6% in 6 hours.
I can't believe it takes Garmin months to figure out the problem.
I even got a replacement a few days ago, when contacting the support regarding the problem.
With that performance…
Update: 100% at 8.00 now 95% at 16.00
Wiyjout any activity or GPS, only HR.
Not OK at all. Incredible.
Exactly the same as with everything turned on.
I tried every combination. Even hard reset and skipped coupling to the phone.
Always the same result, 1.3/h.
Definitely something is not right with 14.20. On the previous charge I got 13 days at 0.30% per hr including 4.5 hrs GPS activities. On this charge its only been 1.5 days and already down 23% (0.65% per hr). Nothing changed.
I've noticed that I seem to get a much higher battery drop if the phone isn't in range or off and the watch is 'flashing' trying to find the phone.
Mines getting progressively worse, to the point im considering sending it back. Last charge cycle I got 6 days out of my watch, with no GPS or activity (I'm currently injured) then after I charged it to 100% Thursday morning, it's lost 14% battery in a 24hr period. Again without any activity tracking.
try to revert the watch to default settings and not to install new watchface setup one of the watches default watchfaces...i have to progressively getting worse batter over a month from my last revert to default settings yesterday i reverted again and i installed nothing nor set it up with favorites sports and clock alarms to test it again...i think garmin should realase a new firmware based on draining battery bugs
No point in sending it back. You will waste time, postage only to get a refurb device instead. The issue is with the firmware.
1 hour walk activity with Normal GPS and ant+ chest HR sensor (sigma rox10)
4.5% battery drain per hour is this normal?
I think so. I usually get 5 percent per hour with GPS activity and around 8 percent per day for watch mode.
I think it's somehow related with sensors version. I reverted to 13.30 firmwire from 14.20, but still I don't have the same results as before 13.40 upgrade. Because there is no way to revert sensors drivers, only the firmwire. I'm very dissapointed.
Reverter to 13.30.
On 14.20 have a 0,8%/H consumption.
Now I have 0.27%/h..
Also in GPS a 25 minutes ride from 3.2% to 2.3%
Just upgrade to 14.20 yesterday.
0,25%/h with no BT, no OHR, with B GMT Dark watch face. This one is ok.
3%/h cycling indoor (no gps) with SPD/CAD, HR Strap, Power meter. This one (no gps) seams high.
