So far 14.20 has been positive for me with the battery. Doing spot checks shows it back to .3 percent per hour and staying consistent.

Still 6% in 6 hours.
I can't believe it takes Garmin months to figure out the problem.
I even got a replacement a few days ago, when contacting the support regarding the problem.
With that performance…
Update: 100% at 8.00 now 95% at 16.00
Wiyjout any activity or GPS, only HR.
Not OK at all. Incredible.
Exactly the same as with everything turned on.
I tried every combination. Even hard reset and skipped coupling to the phone.
Always the same result, 1.3/h.
Friends please tell me, no one tried to test the battery in normal watch mode (without bluetooth, without activity, without OHR). How long does it hold?

From 100 % to 99% after 12 h.
Normal watch mode (without bluetooth, without activity, without OHR) and without any extra APP!
After 50 hours and a 10k trail run (Galileo, GPS), Bluetooth notifications, WiFi, stock watch face w/second hand, battery down to 82%. The run chewed up 7%, so net 5.5%/24 hours on Fenix 5X. Did notice GPS took a tad longer to acquire, but this was first 'run' since the upgrade.Tracking accuracy reasonably accurate. Using Elevation Correction, elevation was off by 20% (237m vs 177m). This is consistent with v14.10 and v13.30 (GSP 2.50 issue). I haven't tested GPS 2.51 beta.
Thanks for the answer. I have no bluetooth, no OHR, no activity for 5 hours and a percentage did not go away. Just sometimes you need a minimum mode, without everything. Just the time. I think 20 days will be extended.
Since the update to 14.20: 20 percent in 5 hours. No activities except walk. No changes after soft reset. I paid 699 euros for the watch. Definitely my last garmin device!
Going on 5.5 days now since last recharge.Battery level now 56%. Deducting out 2 x 8.5km runs (7% each run), my 5x consuming 5.5% per day with Bluetooth and WiFi turned on, second hand showing on stock watch face. Tracking against route is very good, but elevation is still 30% off. Running up then back down 4.25km route, watch shows elevation 168m. After enabling elevation correction, shows 235m. I'm still using GPS 2.50 (GPS mode only). GPS acquired quickly on 2nd run after updating to 14.20.
Mine is draining the battery at 20% daily with only the hr working which seems to me like I don't need the watch because I like to have notifications and very informative watch faces that I can't use now only with the Garming analogic not seconds hands right now
It would be helpful if everyone posted their watch model please. I have a feeling these battery drain rates vary depending on the model.
Battery consumption is great on 14.20.
6% per day.
Charged on Sunday afternoon and now it's on 83%. Two 20 minutes trainings since then.
They did good job with 14.20.
Fenix 5 is the model.
