So far 14.20 has been positive for me with the battery. Doing spot checks shows it back to .3 percent per hour and staying consistent.

Still 6% in 6 hours.
I can't believe it takes Garmin months to figure out the problem.
I even got a replacement a few days ago, when contacting the support regarding the problem.
With that performance…
Update: 100% at 8.00 now 95% at 16.00
Wiyjout any activity or GPS, only HR.
Not OK at all. Incredible.
Exactly the same as with everything turned on.
I tried every combination. Even hard reset and skipped coupling to the phone.
Always the same result, 1.3/h.
Still 6% in 6 hours.

With that performance the watch isn't even close to advertised and no use for my purposes when using in the mountains.
Even when not using GPS the ABC functions are not available safely for a period of 3 or four days.
So the watch is worthless for me. I am not willing to carry a additional power source around just to feed a non-functional watch.
Prior to this issue I had 12+ with everything on, except GPS.
The 350€ I paid is a little to much for that poor performance, which I see since months now.

I always find the first few percent go quickly. Sometimes it drops to 97 percent not long after taking off charge. Hopefully it slows down for you!
Need a bit more testing but appears to be back to normal.
Update: a ffullcharge and a reset with the light button it seems to be holding much better. I will see in a couple of days if we are back to normal.
Original post:
8% in 8 hours just going about my day with no training. Maybe the latest is a little better then it was, but not by much.
My watch is a sapphire version, standard Garmin digital watch face and no apps installed. There should be nothing to keep eating the battery.
You cannot.
Just uninstall Garmin Express. That's what I did after reverting to 13.30
Seeing excellent battery with 14.20 - 5% drain 20 hours. Was 10% before under all the v14s and 14.10. For those not seeing the improvement, try a hard reset - press LIGHT button for 15 seconds until device shuts off. Press again turns device on.
Mine has now settled down to 0.191 with heart and Bluetooth on
5% a day with BT and OHR
5% per hour with gps/ glonass
Perfect so!
(With beta 2.51 for gps)
After 24 h and start with 100 %:
- Activity 5 h Trailrunning (with using Map)
- No special Apps

From 100 % to 80 %!
