I know I am in the wrong forum but does anyone know where did the Fenix 3HR forum go? Maybe Garmin moderator can answer that? Thank you.

A full month after the forum ‘transport” am I obliged to say that Fenix 3 and 3HR related posts had been deliberately sunken by Garmin?

I can't believe that all the useful information the forum users had generated all over the years is gone in a web technology update....
This shows the level of care Garmin gives to products that are no longer in their current production. If I would not know any better I would say that this is a deliberate action to force users to buy the…
20 days or more without F3 forum is enough for me. They don’t care about us, the customers who contributed to this community.

I see the same issue with Fenix 3 on the 9.40 firmware. The incredible variation of altitude makes me crazy, during half marathon distance I can virtually climb even 2000 meters, from jumping from -500 to 500. The fanny is that during first 5-7 km everything seems to be OK, and the altitude changes as it is (+-5 meters), but (BIG BUT) suddenly starts to change dramatically. I have soaked and smoothly wash-out the altimeter holes according the Garmin instructions, but nothing has improved. So, I guess the issue is caused by the faulty part of firmware responsible for altimeter/barometer.
Sorry to jump on your thread, but my heart rate sensor stopped working. I cleaned the watch and I got it back for a short period, but it's gone again. I guess it's hardware, but I can't rule out a firmware glitch. I don't feel like forking out $900 CDN for the latest and greatest, when they still don't support Google Fit.
Nope, this is a common error/failure of the all Garmin watches with built in altmeters/barometers. Garmin has changed something to make the sensors more responsive couple updates ago, but the change has destroyed the accuracy, and they have not fixed it yet.
I'm still waiting, can't understand why there's only one fenix3/hr forum in german.
OK, a power off fixed this issue. I think it might have started the last time I used the chest strap.
thanks for sharing this. i've been messaging back and forth with garmin support for a week or so about issues with the optical heart rate monitor since the new firmware was released. seems coincidental that the firmware update largely coincides with nuking the garmin fenix 3 forum.
Starting to feel the need for those bad words... Ho much longer will we have to wait?
Amd I'm not even mentioning this half a***d try for a more modern Forum...
I exchanged tweets with Garmin. They responded to my similar question saying:
"the forum team has responded, and there are currently no plans to enable the fenix 3HR forums. You are certainly free to post in the forum section you feel would be helpful. Our apologies for any inconvenience!"
Disappointing that they would actually delete content like that.
