Block and unblock app notifications on Fenix 5x v 10.0

Noticed for the first time that when I get a notification from a phone app (such as calendar from an android) on my Fenix 5x (version 10.0) that the option is there to 'block app'
So I tried it out. Seems to work, but now I want to unblock the app but can't see how to, either in 'connect' on the phone or via the watch menu.
Anyone know how?

Hi, just go on garmin connect on your phone, after setings/smart notification/choice app on/off

thanks - I am unable to locate smartphone notifications. I believe I selected block instead of dismiss when my wife texted me. OOOPS. I want to change it back to allow. Can you be more descriptive. I…

From hamburger menu:

Settings> Notifications> App Notifications

I go to the garmin connect app on phone. I have looked in device settings - nothing looked user settings. Additionally I clicked on the hamburger on the upper left - settings do not see smart notification.

Venu 2s. I accidentally blocked sms to the watch. I did find the app notification settings and turned my messages back on but it's not working even though I have my messenger selected. Not happy, any ideas?. What seemed like a simple fix didn't fix the issue.
