Fenix 5S: altitude problem while skydiving and flying

the watch was working ok before, but since the update to v8, there is a huge hysteresis in the altimeter. In other words, when climbing the fenix is approx. 500m late. During the jump, the altimeter does not move too much, and once on the ground, the altimeter dysplays decreasing values from around 2300m to zero, this takes several minutes. Also impossible to calibrate during the climb.
i contacted garmin support but if someone has an old firmware or a trick that would be great.

I like Garmin products looks (this is why somebody offered me this watch i guess), but their software is unreliable. Every update brings new bugs. I got Fenix 1 long time ago and experienced the same type of issue, i then switched to their main competitor.
The worse is that with these recurrent instability and changes, i simply dont trust the watch. I may send mine back to their after sale tommake them feel my frustration. Sorry to post such message Garmin. Again, i like your products, specially the ones in my planes, but here it does not work...

It's the same problem i'm reporting from months! I have sent to James, a person that has reply my from beta team, all my Garmin folder to investigate, never have an answer! This problem occurs also during ski activity or after swim activity, in general in all activities with fast change in barometric pressure! This is totally unacceptable! I think i'll wait until the exit of Suunto 9, then i'll sell this mountain of bugs!
The only fix is to roll back to 6.83 that i have tested that it works!

Just to say that I didn't have any problem going from 9.02 to 6.83 on my 5x with my 6.83 beta download. First rolled back to 6.00 following general beta instructions and the upgradef to 6.83.
As instructions say, you loose all configuration made and data collected in watch.
