  • I see no change in battery usage on my watch. If it helps I use the stock analog watch face.
  • There is a massive battery drain with custom watchfaces and some with the build in ones.

Looks like they just leave us with this regretful software for another week.

I will never go for a beta test again!
  • I will never go for a Garmin again!
  • Get use to it.They don't listen and they will update the watch slower and slower from now on.It all start with a few weeks back.I think they are busy with another watch that they want to release so those who buyed fenix5 series we are out of the boat. This is something normal for Garmin!Shame on them...

Not only by Garmin Samsung and all other firms are the same

Youth bugs are common for all firms, but here, we are talking about a product released about 1 year ago and i'm not talking about this beta, also 8.00 it is stable only in name! And we are not talking about some minor bug!

I have no idea when I'll have my F5X back but I'm happy to see things are carrying on, regardless.
  • Has anyone else tried wifi sync with DNS set to 1.1.1.1 on this firmware? I'm seeing some issues and i'm wondering if they are related to my ISP or Garmin.

  • Sam201176 Which benchmarking app are you using to evaluate device performance? There are a few published to the store that I'm aware of, but perhaps you have one of your own.

Hi,what part of the watches functionality do you find slower apart from the GPS fix.
Updates after 6.0 (using an IQ benchmark score)..the 5x has gone from a score of 161 down to 98! for IQ prg's.
    (games run slower)
Or are you refering to the standard inbuilt functions of the watch.

  • Hi Brandon....

It was the " Wolf Benchmark" application in the IQ store...good info in the reviews to... :--)

  • Huge battery drain, erratic battery level reading, apparently hrv log don't work.
