I've updated firmware back to ver.8.0 after Beta 8.54.
    All my problems were disappeared.
I can synchronize via Bluetooth, USB cable.
It seems you've got a serious BUG in Beta 8.54 :-(

I am glad your sync is working. Just don't claim victory so soon. Version 8.0 is not stable at all, it may be one of the worst stable ever released, it is quite unstable from my point of view. 8.54 in any case it is not a beta release, more likely an Alpha release, and 8.0 should be called beta due to the amount of bugs.

    Yes,yes,,, unfortunately, you was right..

In 1-2 hours Bluetooth synchronization stopped work.

I saw connected Fenix 5x, but manual sync started and failed.

I tried disconnect and pair Fenix 5x to my phone again (Samsung S7 Edge).... but it was not operated properly.
Look at my screenshot - how it was - https://prostobzor.com/img/forum/sync-dont-work-again.jpg

USB cable synchronization don't work again

I give up. I've already done the data reset. Reboot, reconnect.
    :-((((((((((((((((((((

    Firmware after reset = 8.00

Beta firmware before reset = 8.54

    Phone = Samsung S7 Edge Android version = 7.0 Kernel version = 3.1814-12365438
    Build number = NRD90M

May be problem with Fenix 5x? not firmware? But I've bought this model March 2017 - I didn't faced with such problem during Mach 2017 - April 2018

    Any suggestions?

P,S. I've sent my reports and video to beta-dev. email but I didn't get any response from support or developers. :-(

    Thanks for an advice.
I've cleared Bluetooth cache according to this manual - https://help.elitehrv.com/article/135-clear-bluetooth-cache-android
first Bluetooth synchronization went successful for me.
Give me some time - I'll try to test thhose changes and let you know.

Thanks again for your time and advice, Stig_Erik!

Confirmed. It works fine (Bluetooth synchronization) after Bluetooth cache delete.

I am having trouble updating the firmware to the beta. I go through step-by-step through the instructions (copy each file over to the watch folders as instructed), then eject the watch "drive". And there is no prompt to install any software. I've tried powering down and powering back up. Nothing. I've tried doing it on both Mac and Windows. Nothing.

When I go to Settings > About, it still shows software v 8.00.

I've tried this about 4 times now, and re-downloaded the firmware files each time, and followed the instructions to the letter each time. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

    Any advice?
