Please send all bug reports to "][email protected], and indicate which model of the fenix 5 series you have in the subject line.

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.
• Clearly not everyone thinks it is "crap firmware." As I mentioned, your experience doesn't match mine with this beta firmware version. My only complaint is the somewhat higher battery use.

This firmware is below crap, even a blind dude can see it. It was coded by a monkey and most likely a drunken one. Please garmin buy my watch back, maybe the software was writing in the indus.

More interesting fact - I can see on the main Dashboard of Garmin Connect - my current Pulse (it's dynamically changing), Goals - but Sync. doesn't operate correctly.
See a screenshot - https://www.dropbox.com/s/u5rsbt3iaegvv5p/Fenix5x-failed-sync-but-Pulse-is-working.png?dl=0

After 1-2 mins synchronization, it was stopped, but Pulse value was still working. It's very strange. Messages from phone were not accepted.

More interesting - I've got incoming call notification on my Fenix 5x (Beta 8.54) - vibration, text - But synchronization was started 3-5 times and was dropped at the end. So, in this case, I was able to connect my F5X with help of USB cable. :-( Hey, Garmin guys! Are you going to comment this situation?
• [h=1]Navigating to Your Starting Point During an Activity[/h]
Might not be an 8.54beta problem, Tried to navigate back to my starting point on a 10k run (route back not track back) and it gave me an error of not enough memory. Anyone had the same?

You expect perfect software from a drunken monkey... Move on. Get yourself some other watch. ;-)
If I were Garmin I would already removed you from the boards because of your choice of words...

Yes, and just to add to your frustration: My Fenix 5X works as a charm. And I am using the latest beta.
• I also notice a big battery drain in 8.54 compared to 8.0

The two first loading cycles are with 8.0 the 3rd and 4th with 8.54. Training load was about the same. Maybe a bit less in towards the end of the chart.

Works as a charm????

Now I see what the definition of charm is in your dictionary. ;-)

Hello there Mr. dude, I do except a good working software for a hardware that it is expensive, my most sincere apologies if that is asking too much. Most likely for the way you are writing you seems to be a “do gooder with a soft and thin skin”. Mr. dude thanks so much for telling me to get another watch I am trying to do so as well, but Garmin is not buying mine back, I even send them emails asking them to buy it back, they aren’t doing it, maybe they will listen to you, especially with such a good relationship you guys seem to have, because if your watch works like a charm you must have good friends at Garmin and running a different software than most of us around here., maybe a different kind of beta.
I am not frustrated; I am just having fun back at a company that lied to me.

The day before yesterday I found a headband I had been looking for for 2 months... and it was on the box of that supposed marvel of technology I was sold for 750€ about a year ago by Garmin.
I assumed it was a divine sign and immediately charged the watch. This is the result, screenshotted by cell phone (no mistake on the date then).

Nothing wrong with the altimeter, according to tech support and Garmin will soon answer about this in a Court of Law.

35 posts in 5 years... of course his watch works like a charm.

Hourly notifications were frozen on display until I pressed Start button once more. In this case Watchface or Activity proceed to work. But function auto-close for notification didn't work for me.
P.S. Just for info - I didn't install new watchfaces, dataf-ields and applications.
P.S. 2 - In my situation, this is the worst beta firmware (8.54) I installed. So much troubles have come for one upgrade. :-((

I have contacted to "][email protected] with a proposal to help. Ready to show, give datas, photos - to correct errors or investigate the problem - none of the developers even contacted me.
