Note: Please allow for the updates to propagate across all servers. There is no need to post that the link does not work. It will after a bit of patience.

7.02 Change Log Notes:
• Improved the stability of CIQ watchfaces.
• Fixed an issue where one couldn't create a course using saved locations on device.
• Fixed an issue where certain courses downloaded through a CIQ application were failing to load on the map.

Please send all bug reports to "][email protected], and indicate which model of the fenix 5 series you have in the subject line.

Please note that the public beta's are intended for non-APAC devices only.
• I have calibrated the altimeter manually to 7 meters, auto calibration is off. No matter, if I use the watch mode "auto" or "altimeter", the abc widget is showing after about 20 minutes an altitude of 20/25 meters- the watch was placed on a table without any movement. Should work more stable. Anybody else seen such an behavior?
• I agree, believe the altimeter is more 'sensitive'. The pressure dropped overnight while the watch was left on my bedside table. It moved 100 or so meters in elevation. It might move a few meters previously, but not by this amount.

Extreme temp changes overnight in winter, of course... messing up with baro.
The real solution here goes through the cell phone (hence, the web). The F5X should PING (service slaved through GCM to any local weather station) the cell phone and get the baro readings of the place it's at (even with GPS off, the mobile data connection or wi-fi are very accurate in telling where the phone is and if the phone is hooked to the F5X it can't be so far away).

Even if this was done every 6 hours only (4 times a day, so to speak) it would solve an incredible amount of problems, first and foremost we'd have an autocalibration that works 24/7 even without GPS mode on. We have the technology AND we have the horsepower to make it happen but it's Garmin's decision.
• Battery usage now back to normal levels - great stuff Garmin!

Not aware of my Spartan or Ambit doing all that & they seem to manage much better.

My Casio F20 tries to do some of that via internet stuff & it doesn't really help.

How does one tell? Is there an indicator in the serial number?

Best, M.
• I believe the Serial number does show the different region. Starting with 54J rather than just 54G I think. What I want to know is what is the difference? What danger is there by putting the Beta on a APAC device. I had a US model but had it replaced under warranty for an APAC model.

Can you give us some guidance odsweng ? I've tested the betas up to now, and this is the first time that caveat has appeared... does that mean its a non-APAC device?

Cheers, M.
• I am running 7.02 and am trying to download historical data from HRM Swim. The watch connects to the Swim then restarts while downloading the data.
