V6.0.0.0 has broken shot tracking

Is it just me or has the latest software upgrade for the Fenix 5 broken the golf shot tracking feature? I played a few holes on 31st August when my watch still had v5.30.0.0 and shot detection worked fine. Then last Tuesday 26th September I played 9 holes but not a single shot was detected. I noticed after the round that my watch had upgraded to v6.0.0.0. I played 6 holes again today, Friday 29th September, and once more not a single shot was detected. Help!! This is one of the primary features I use.

6.75 beta is up and apparently this is fixed.

Used it today with 6.75 and it worked as designed. Shot tracking and distance measurement both worked.

I upgraded to 6.75 and still not working for me. Can someone please provide step-by-step directions to make this work and explain how? My last watch simply started tracking when I hit start and ended when I clicked stop. Garmin of course doesn't even *mention* shot tracking in their online documentation - at least for the 935. This needs a video.
