Is it just me or has the latest software upgrade for the Fenix 5 broken the golf shot tracking feature? I played a few holes on 31st August when my watch still had v5.30.0.0 and shot detection worked fine. Then last Tuesday 26th September I played 9 holes but not a single shot was detected. I noticed after the round that my watch had upgraded to v6.0.0.0. I played 6 holes again today, Friday 29th September, and once more not a single shot was detected. Help!! This is one of the primary features I use.
I hope that Garmin can fix this problem. My last round of golf was 2 weeks ago and the golf activity did not work at all. The season is about to end here in north but I would like to see problems fixed. For me this golf activity was also the reason to purchase the fenix 5.
I noticed the same problem. I just bought the watch and as first thing I have updated the firmware at 6.00; so i don't know if in the last firmware the shot tracking was working. I hope in a fast update, I bought the fenix5 even for replaced my garmin approach S3
Same thing happen to me, since upgrade to 6.0 shot tracking is not available in the app after the round. This is really anoying, it was one of the reasons for fenix 5 purchase. please fix!
