5.40 Change Log Notes:

Fixed an issue in which optical heart rate became much less precise during an activity if Connect IQ apps were installed on the watch.
Fixed an issue in which the prompt to enter scores between holes during Golf activities was not shown.

No, I've not seen a resolution or a response from the beta software team.

Not fixed either in beta or in release version: HRM-Swim is still connected and visible as Ext. HR instead of its properly configured name.

after installing the official version of 5.40 everything when I activate the "do not disturb" for the notifications after a certain period of time ( 1 -2 hours) I restart to receive notifications despite I did not disactivate the function.

I have reported this via the bug email, but since 5.40 installed, I am not getting HR graphs on either the watch (past 4 hrs) or the Garmin Connect web page (all-day HR, max, average). I get the current HR and it transmits to the app. I also get HR throughout an activity alongside pace, cadence, etc. When I have an activity (i.e., run), the average and max HR during the activity are recorded as the day's average and max HR. If I have no activity on the day, I have no average or max HR for that day.
(Edited to add, I ended up in this thread by error via search - I have 5S. Although 5.40 issues may be the same for both, I have proceeded to post this in 5S thread where it should have been, and mods may remove this post. Sorry!)

Distance Remaining Bug while navigating. Screenshots taken at same time. Shouldn't the 0.18 mi and 0.14 mi be the exact same number?

Yes, same for me. Should be the same number. I also noticed, that the distance in the elevation plot is different...
