There really is no GPS setting anymore. What's the purpose of this ? Garmin ?
It's in the settings for the specific activity. So if you select "run" and press menu, it's under "run settings"

for folks having GPS problems, after a firmware update, it might take longer to get a GPS fix the first time. Did you wait for GPS to "go green" before starting out? If not you don't have an initial fix, and the watch will keep trying as you are moving, which can take longer and lead to a screwy map.
Just got back from running. Fenix ​​5x calculated a route of 16km. At km 6 it went wrong. I had to get there on the left but there was nothing ... GPS lost connection! So I decided to go ahead and do a hard reset on my watch and as much of a hassle it was the problem went away. I duplicated the same walk as yesterday and no spikes or additions added to my route.
I've done 4 runs and a hike since 5.30 and not seen any decrease in GPS performance. My tracks look great. My hike had a odd spots, but given that I was in a canyon where the mountain I was climbing was blocking out a good portion of the sky and i was stationary, waiting on my partner to catch up when those oddities occurred, I can't really complain
