Went for a walk this morning and when reviewing the map I noticed this spike darting to the Left of my route. Also it added a section to my route that I didn't even walk. Any thoughts? ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1243004.jpg
I had the same experience today. First day on 5.30. Went hiking/climbing and gps made strange maneouvre on the top of the hill. https://www.relive.cc/view/g13661033252 normally we went just up and down with some time on the top. There is strange thing on the top like i woul go other side of te hill.
Sounds like the same issue. I first noticed this when upgrading to 5.10. Called Garmin and the woman told me to do a soft reset. I did the reset however had not had time to try it out before they rolled out 5.30. I have my doubts however will try it tomorrow.
Mine is also smart and every second. GPS setting cannot find in 5.30 firmware menu, it used to be in the system, and I had it set to GPS only, but now cannot check because I cannot find this option. Can you?

Settings ->Activities & Apps-> select the app and scroll down. Configurable per app.
My gps is also wrong in the last days ... i have already tried to change the settings: gps + glonas, gps only, what's up? When my GPS is wrong, he makes a straight line (bird's eye) from point A to point B! Even the location is not correct! This is sometimes 10km out of the way! I have this problem a few days BEFORE I upgrade to 5.30 ... is there anything wrong with the satelites? (Trumph korea)

Changing the settings won't do any good. I repeated my same walk this morning and the results after doing a soft reset were identical. I may try doing a hard reset, don't want to, but aside from doing that I'm out of options. On a side note I noticed my heart rate seemed to get stuck on 104 bpm. I even did a quick run just to see if it changed. It finally did jump up after I had resumed my walking. Another bug?
