I had to return my original Fenix 5 over a host of issues (Bluetooth, GPS etc). Well, the replacement just arrived and it is an APAC (Asian/Pacific) version. I Live in Chicago and it was sent from Kentucky so go figure.
Garmin support said it would be ok other than a longer time to acquire the GPS the first time I used it. But they also said to contact them if I had any other issues. That gave me pause.
Is anyone else using an APAC version in the continental US. I know the firmware updates seem to lag non-APAC versions but is there anything else that might be an issue?
The bottom line, should I send this back or is it no big deal?
