Fenix 5X - swimming issue

Hi everyone, I'm a regular swimmer and facing issue with my new Fenix 5X that i never experienced with my previous Fenix3.
It's quite simple but very annoying. First swimming pool session, the Watch simply recorded nothing except the timing : no strokes, swolf, no Kcal burned, number of lenghts, Nothing except a basic chrono / duration of the session. I called garmin and made a hard reset, loosing everything but after that it worked smoothly for one complete week.
Unfortunately, today again, same happened => 2400m and no data at all. Tried again for 2 more lenghts and Nothing.
Anyone else experiencing the same ? i'm pretty sure it's not hardware related as it worked for one complete week (4 sessions / 10K) after the master reset.....

Hi, i'm not sure for 3.30 as issue is very sporadic and i did only 2 swimming sessions with this firmware but it was happening too with 2.90. I reported this one to the beta team 2 days ago, providing one of the bad fit files and since my Watch is also affected by the flickering, i will send it to garmin today for exchange...let's see.

Hi there, thank you for your reply.i havent experience any flickering but that annoyed me was that the watch doesnt record the distance. well 3.30 is just a beta version i guess ill give it a try later tonight.
im currently on 2.90:)

i might wanna do the same to ask for an exchange if that happen to me again on the version 3.30.

Replacement will arrive on friday. In the meantime i received an answer from the beta team for my 2 issues (flickering and swimming) and they are looking at it right now. Perhaps it will be fixed by software in the end !

I've had all the official plus all the beta software since the release and I never missed a single length.
I'm afraid there's a problem with your accelerometer.

This situation is what I am having now. Just duration is recorded and calories no swolf or stokes and I am using v8.0
