Hi, a lot of confusion is going on about firmware 19.10.
What wifi version will appear on the watch? Now I have 4.01 with the update 19.10.
Garmin; If you release an update be accurate please. Now I see a lot of misunderstandings
Thank you, Jan

The new v19.10 Fenix 5 Plus series update should show Wi-Fi version 4.01.
It was a typo error on our end with the new software release noting Wi-Fi would be version 4.10.
My sincere apologies for the confusion caused.
Thank you for the update. The v4.10 Wi-Fi update should also be received. I have reached out a couple of times to advise the v4.10 Wi-Fi software has not been pushed to everyone despite updating to the v19.10 software. I am now starting to gather customers that have not received the new Wi-Fi update to have the issue escalated.
Greetings, my 5x plus received 19.10, however WiFi is still at 4.01. Feel free to contact me for additional logs or infomation
Syncing multiple times with Garmin express but still no WiFi update to 4.10.

What about this thread and issues discussed there?

It was said that it is caused by the inconsistencies of wifi versions. If you say that was a mistake, perhaps there's something else that is causing the issue
The Wi-Fi version number was only ever a typo. It is unfortunate but when a watch crashes - 99.99% of the time it's a memory or hardware issue. There are dozens of scenarios and each watch has been used differently. You would be amazed how many pictures I have seen over the years where it is obvious a watch was taken off and tossed across a granite counter at the end of each day.
