13.00 Change Log Notes:

  • Fixed an issue where bike lights were staying on during non-cycling activities.

For those of you who are interested, here are the full list of changes since 12.00:

  • Added support for descriptive WiFi errors when syncing music.
  • Fixed an issue where certain maps may report v0.00 in GarminDevice.xml intermittently.
  • Fixed an issue where the Heart Rate field was getting clipped on the watchface.
  • Fixed an issue where bike lights were staying on during non-cycling activities.

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

    o.k. understand. I will check with bluetooth on. As I am annoyed by those notifications on the watch, I mostly have BT swichted off. For me it is more a sports watch which works great offline Wink

    it's a sportwatch for me too.
    but I need the bt to connect it to the headphones when I do the very long runs, to connect it to the smartphone to upload the workouts and to download the data. Turning the BT off and on constantly annoys me, especially if the problem is due to a software update.

    However with the downgrade it seems to have solved it. Consumption always remains a higher than before.

    I will continue to test it these days.

    At present, it is clearly best to downgrade to SW 12 with a downgrade to ANT 5.04 for low consumption again. There is no other solution without constantly restarting the sportwatch at the moment!

    I won't be updating to 13.00 again .. as reverting back to 12.00 has given me back "Audio alerts" again....(hr/pace etc.. not working for me with software version 13.00 for at least treadmill and hike using a Hauwei 2019 p smart... and my Fenix 5x plus.

    Update::::::::

    Audio alerts are still broken.... It only worked for half of my activity...... Oh well lol...
