Recieved the update this morning and installed it.

Let's see how this one is going to run.

I Just hope it does, once and for all, fix me having to toggle on/off Bluetooth several times a day on my iPhone. It's in the patch notes, so I'm optimistic! I have no other issues with the watch otherwise.

What iOS are you on Rtpperna? I was getting that with iOS 12, but since I've been on the 13 beta it's been a lot better.

ANd when it did happen, I found the best option was to (on the watch) go to phone - pair phone. then start GC. You can even add that option as a hotkey.

I'm on the latest version of 12; I don't do betas. :-) All I do is swipe up to bring up the control center, tap the Bluetooth icon to shut it off, turn it back on, and presto. My phone and watch are talking again. It's been doing this since I bought the watch in March (several times a day!), so here's to hoping this watch firmware fixes it. If not, 13 is right around the corner.

I have just been updated to 8.40 and my battery built-in widget has disappeared - the screen that shows time since last charge, GPS since last charge etc

Ah, the device info widget is for beta's only, if that's the one you mean

I have noticed that map zooming is now slower (yet again). This was fixed a little while ago by a small map update so hopefully this will be the case again, but it does amaze me how we keep going round in circles with the same old issues popping up.
