Watch Face not updating setting

I have a problem with my Garmin Fenix 5+.:

I have just gotten the watch yesterday upgrading it from a Fenix 5.

The switch to the new watch went smoothless and I was quickly out doing a run with the new watch and my Jabra Elite Active 65T.

Now, after the run, I wanted to install the watch face, that I have been using on the Fenix 5.

The installation of the watch face was done with no problems, and the watch also show's the watc face as intended.

But, when I change settings for the watch face in Garmin connect app. on the phone, nothing happens?

The app. says, that settings are changed, but nothing changes on the watch face. It simply stays at the default setup.

I tried 3 other watch face. Same story. They install just fine, but the settings can't be changed for some strange reason.

Any suggestions / input to what to do?
