Connect IQ fields vanished

Anyone else notice that on the Garmin Connect website, when viewing an activity, the connect IQ fields are gone?
  • Sure, I'm not arguing that or defending Garmin in any way!
  • Okay, so your run was recorded and transferred after this issue occured? That should mean that it's only a matter of the CIQ data not being visible in GC/GCM.

Yes, I did a run after this happened and the data made it to Stryd. So yup, seems to be strictly a UI issue. I hope. Good to hear it impacts Garmin's running pod as well, that probably means they will fix it sooner rather than later.
  • Did a run tonight, and my data is recorded and pushed to PowerCenter through GCM just as normal as well. Phew!
  • Did a run yesterday and today. I don't send the data anywhere after Connect. Yesterday, Steps to FIT was missing in Web Connect but found in GCM Android. Today, both are missing for me.
  • And all we can hear is the deafening silence of Garmin customer support...
  • But, please don´t forget, that garmin introduced an new feature instead of connect IQ fields:
    Elevation!
My app isn´t allowed to record elevation or GPS...

I cannot see how much exercises I´ve done during my stretch session, but how elevated I was.
    What a great improvement!
  • CIQ data seems to be visible again! :)

Had anyone actually contacted Garmin Support?

It's been repeated over and over. If you want Garmin Support, then contact Garmin Support instead of hoping they'll see your post.

In general I agree, but in this major and widespread issue were all CIQ data suddenly disappeared for (seemingly) all users one should think that it shouldn’t be necessary to notify Garmin for them to become aware of it...
