Fenix 5+ version 6.0 notice

Checked on Garmin Express, and noticed that an update to Firmware Version 6.0 is available, along with BTLE, Sensor Hub, and something else was available. Anyone got the changelog so I can see what I've done to myself?

Garmin recommenced sending in photos of what I was seeing and data files. Since I had added Runcasts and upgraded to 6.0 at around the same time, I reached out to them. This is what they said:

Update to Garmin Express v 6.10 perhaps? Nothing on the 5 Plus Updates & Downloads other than 5.58b

These all appear to be the same as the v5.58 Beta except the Sensor Hub goes from V2.21 to V2.30
I can't find the "old" version of the WHR, so can't tell on that one.

WHR is 20.03.32 on my watch with FW5.10, so probably no change there.

Just checked in Garmin Express, no updates available for me. Guess they’re doing a phased rollout as usual.

Luckily I don’t have any major issues with 5.10 so I don’t mind waiting until it’s proven to be stable before I update :)

Sure would be nice it (1) we knew that the update changes / fixes and (2) if we had an option to install it or not...

Sensor Hub goes from V2.21 to V3.20

My bad, the "new" sensor hub on the v6.0 software is at 2.30, I typed the incorrect version above, and have corrected it. The numbers are correct now.

On the Fenix5 Plus you do have the option to disable automatic software updates.

Settings -> System -> Software Updates -> Automatic update -> Toggle on/off (my menus are in Norwegian, wording might be slightly different in English menus)

When disabling this updates will still be downloaded and transferred to your watch when syncing with Connect, but you will need to manually trigger the installation.

Can confirm this update is coming through GE Windows, but not MacOS Mojave. I'm trying to sort out an update issue with GE on my Mac so loaded GE into a Windows virtual machine where the update was applied. Interestingly the issue I'm trying to resolve on GE MacOS is not appearing on WIndows.

This morning I checked with GE 6.9 on my Mac... I got the 6.0 update for my Fenix 5Xplus over the previous 5.57 BV BETA. After this i checked "about" GE and got and update to 6.10 for GE. But strange that there is no FIX list.... I would hope the fixed the HIGH POWER peeks which could bee seen in the BETA
