Problems Reconnecting Earphones

I have recently switched from Jaybrid Run Free to Jabra Elite Active 65t. I am finding that the Jabras will not reconnect to my 5 Plus. Each time I start a new session I have to connect them as "new" headphones. I didn't seem to have this problem with the Jaybirds, but I'm not sure whether it's the change in earphones or something about the latest beta (I'm on 4.65). Anyone els having the problem?

I have the same problem with the same headphones. Before the beta update I had to play some music over my phone and then disconnect it - then start the playback from the watch. With 4.65 this trick does not work anymore.

The good thing about 4.65 is that my GPS finally works.

I reset the Jabra headphones to factory defaults and now it is connecting easily. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will continue working.

I also reset the headphones. Unfortunately, the connection success rate is still worse than a coin toss.

Sometimes, after some headphone restarts, they connect, but the headphones stay silent. They only start the subtle "white noise" as they do when they start playing but there is no sound from the audiobook or music. To fix this, I have to restart the watch.
  • Rather than start a whole new thread, I'll ask this simple question here, hoping someone will know. Can I connect more than one headset to the watch? Like Heart monitors, I have a Polar OH1, and a Tickr-X that will automagically connect which ever one is active. I would like to have my AirPods, and the Bose Soundsport phones both available in the watch, depending on which pair I'm wearing. Is that possible? TIA

My Jabra elite active 65t won’t reconnect to my 5+ with FW 5.0. Only thing that help is doing a soft reset each time. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

edit: They do reconnect, but i can’t hear any muisc. I can stop and start the music, and also switch songs, but i only hear white noise.

I have the same problem. Restarting the watch before each use of the headphones seems like a reliable workaround.
  • I had the same issue. Check your connected sensors in settings. For some reason, I notices there were two connected sensors for the Jabra 65t active headphone, one for headphone and the other was connected as a power meter. After deleting the one showing as power meter, I no longer have the connection issue. My Jabra is correctly paired to two devices iPhone and the fenix 5 plus. Also, I noticed if you have it paired to two devices when I listen to music on the fenix and if my iPhone is not set to vibrate only, the iPhone will steal the connection from the fenix everytime a sound is played on the iPhone. Hope that helps.

I have the same problem with my JBL Reflect mini. Always have to make the watch "forget" them and then reconnect the headphones. FW 5.10, using the Spotify app.

Same for me, Fenix 5X Plus and Jabra Elite Active 65T. Most of the times dont connect, restart watch and it connects sometimes. Lots of Dropouts.
