Triggering WLAN synchronization reports error on first attempt

When i trigger a WLAN connect/sync from my Fenix 5 plus, i always get a fail message at the first attempt.
When i trigger it again, it tells me that synchronization is already running!?

Removing/adding my WLAN did not make a change, neither a reboot.
As sayed it's working just the message displayed is wrong.
I hope that bug gets fixed in the next release.

I got further strange behaviour of the WLAN sync.
It tells me it's syncing but it doesn't... no matter how often i start the WLAN sync manually.
I can see on my WLAN-AP that the watch is only connecting for a second or so and then disconnects again.
It's definately no problem on the signal-quality or network or AP side!
The only thing that got it work was to activate and deactivate the DND mode once - after that it synced over WLAN.

I'm starting to get really frustrated with this 800,-€ really expencive watch.
Bluetooth and WLAN are not working reliable, stairs counts are wrong, and pulse measurement is kind of random number generator (using it for biking).
Considering to return that piece since i really HATE UNRELIABLE AND BUGGY software!!!
  • Did you try newest beta that come out yesterday?

Thanks for the hint - will install it immediately and test it.
I'd loved to read "solved" instead of "improved" connectivity issues...

Unfortunately, the exact same bug still exists in 5.31 :(
