Hello everyone,
I bought my Garmin Descent MK1 exactly 13 months ago and since then have worn it daily and taken it on approximately 100 dives. Yesterday afternoon while wearing it I noticed it had turned off and wouldn't turn back on through normal means.
I have fully charged it (The screen turns on while it is charging after going through a blue triangle screen and depth meter check) so the battery does not appear to be the issue but it still wont turn on.
I have tried to factory reset it and have also followed the advice on this forum topic (https://forums.garmin.com/outdoor-recreation/outdoor-recreation/f/descent-mk1/184140/device-not-charging/931699) But without success.
I have kept it in great condition but this definitely worries me as I use this watch for tec diving as my secondary computer and if this happens on a deep dive it could be dangerous so would appreciate any ideas from you all.
