Plan Dive : compute for longer surface interval

Hey there, i just got a MK1 and and would like to ask if there is any way i can compute my NDL for a delayed decent. example we just finished a deep dive, and we would like to do a second dive an hour later at around 10meters. and i would like to see the NDL for that dive..
but Mk1 seems to only display if i were to instantly decent again. is there a way i can add surface interval time, and then compute?

Thanks atj777..i can compute for the next dive, but i only able to enter Depth or Time for second dive , is there a way i can compute with both parameters?

How could you possibly compute both parameters? They are dependent on each other just as they are for the first dive.

You can dive shallower for longer or deeper for less time. There are as many combinations possible as there are depths and times you could enter.

i was meaning that when i plan a dive of example 30m.
in the interface Descent MK1, i can only enter 30m and it returns to me 14:56 as the NDL time.
but i do not plan to stay for the full NDL, and say i plan to go 30m for only 10mins, and this will put me in a different group.
this way, the plan of my second dive calculation from the MK1 wont be accurate.

Garmin-Nate, setting the initial surface interval will surely help in planning the next dive after my current dive, so i will know how much surface interval i have to wait out to able to get the time i want at a certain depth.
is it possible that i set both time and depth to compute? normally we do not stay the max NDL time at the max dept that we decent to.

on the other hand, i am unable to get the 10.10 update for the MK1, can you please help me out on how to get it?

That's the way dive planners work. They can only assume square dive profiles. There's no way around this.

This is why dive computers are better than tables!
