Heart Rate Monitor green light stays solid

My Garmin heart rate monitor changed from a flashing (or blinking) green light to a solid green light.

I've owned this for 3 years now and never had this problem.

The green light stays on and is a solid light that burnt my wrist in about 2 minutes.

I turned off the monitor on my web dashboard, turned the watch off, turned it back on, and nothing has changed.

Any ideas?

I assume this is on a Garmin fitness device with an optical HRM? Which Garmin device?

It's actually my Garmin Descent dive watch.

If this is occurring, Garmin will want to know about it as in this post. Rash or Irritation happening on my wrist by the vivoactive 3

support.garmin.com as you stated above generates a message stating "correct the email address and resend".

I can't get you an email. Where do you want me to send the issue outline and a picture of this blister?

What country? The phone number depends on your country, but you should be able to navigate to it from https://support.garmin.com

Enter product "Descent Mk1"

Then you should see options to either chat, call, or email. Chat may or may not be available depending on your location and time.
