MK1 and Garmin Connect Mobile App can't sync partially

Hi all,

Starting from some recent days, my MK1 can't sync with Garmin Connect through Mobile App.

I am not sure if this caused by my mobile app updated to latest, or the MK1 Firmware upgraded to 8.0 or some other issue else.
I am using iPhone latest IOS 12.4, not sure if this is a cause of issue too.

I am ok to sync with the activities, but the daily heart rate, step, floor or sleep can't sync.

I am also ok to show weather information and real time heart rate on the app, seem like it is not a bluetooth connection or internet issue.

I tried the following per instruction on line:

- Turn off BlueTooth and shut down the iphone

- Restart both the watch and iPhone

- Remove the watch from Garmin app and iPhone Bluetooth device, then add them back

- Reset the watch to factory setting

... all are not quite helpful.

Have you ever synced with Garmin Express?

i had a similar experience (if not identical) last year when I added my Mk1 to Garmin Express and accidentally used the wrong email address (I have a couple). It didn’t dawn on me immediately and I wondered why I received a new “Thank you for registering...” email.

This meant formal activities like runs and dives synced fine but Steps, Sleep, etc didn’t, just like you are seeing.

i deleted the Mk1 from both Garmin Connect Mobile and Garmin Express and added it back to just GCM being careful to use the correct email address.

I only have single email and garmin account.
I have also tried to remove the device from garmin express, mobile app, web garmin connect...etc.

I even factory reset my iPhone and delete everything to setup from nothing.

However, it doesn't help...

Yeah, I only had one Garmin account when it happened to me.

Another time it happened was when I was working with Garmin support on another issue and they used the ID from my watch for testing and left it pointing to another account.

i recommend you call support and get them to check the account to where your watch is registered.

Have you managed to get any help or resolve this issue? I have the same error message with a different product - issue also appeared approximately a month ago and is specific to one of my Garmin devices only (a vivoki clip-on tracker).

yes, it fixed. But this fixed by the local distributor replaced my watch physically.

Just bought a forerunner 45s and see exactly the same retors in my log... als my bike history does not Deen to upload to the device... is there something wrong with my new watch?
