Feature request: Dive planning and log

Is it possible to have
1. Garmin connect to do dive planning and push it to the watch?
2. Use compass to lock a direction on land and use that heading while diving?
3. Overlay gas switch depth/time, ascent rate etc on the dive log graph?

Does Descent give you an ascent rate and gas switch time/depth info when importing to dive log apps ( i.e SubSurface)?

Yes. Subsurface shows all of those things. MacDive doesn't show gas switch but it doesn't handle multiple tanks well at all.
