Is it possible to have 1. Garmin connect to do dive planning and push it to the watch? 2. Use compass to lock a direction on land and use that heading while diving? 3. Overlay gas switch depth/time, ascent rate etc on the dive log graph?
For #2 you can go to the dive screen to start a dive then select your compass and set a heading before your dive. The watch will save that heading even if you get out of the dive feature until you reset it or clear it.

Not only that, but Linus is apparently working on (or at least playing with) BLE imports for the Descent Mk1. So I'd expect wireless support to be coming at some point in the relatively near future.

Abhi, could you post a link to this forum, please? I would like to ask Linus whether Subsurface will also support Apnea and Apnea Hunt dives on Descent MK1.
Obviously I didn't find it because of the wrong name "Support for Gamrin Descent MK1" -> Gamrin instead of Garmin I already communicate with Dirk and Linus about importing, parsing and data interpreting of Apnea (Hunt) Dives.
