Various Bugs

In software version 4.0 I still notice these bugs:
- Elevation Graph of routes imported from basecamp are always wrong/missing (they all appear as a flat line). If I convert the route into a track before sending it to the device the elevation graph shows correctly.
- The POI search function Spell Name still doesn't work. The watch start the search but never ends it. It appears to work only for cities.

It’s not possible to search a poi by spelling the name. The search lasts as long as 20 minutes then the watch returns to the wach face without giving any result. Are you able to search for a POI like a restaurant or a hotel by spelling the name? In my Eu device it’s impossible, except for cities names.
In addition we have the problem of the routes created and imported from basecamp missing the elevation graph. The trick to export as a gpx and then import via garmin connect does’t work for me. Connect always gives an error when trying to import a gpx file.

Hope in a fix since the device doesn’t work ad advice in its functions. For your knowledge italian support is totally useless and incompetent about all the problems I faced till now.
    Best regards

    Hi TopIT,

I would suggest after exporting from Basecamp to use GPSies -> http://www.gpsies.com/createTrack.do
Import your GPX file (I'm pretty sure that it WILL BE possible and fully functional), update an elevation, export a new GPX file and then use Connect on the web. :)
