I have the same problem as others, the device is up to date with the software bit freezes several times per round. Is there Anu permanent solution to this problem yet?

If anyone is experiencing this, then please reach out to Garmin's Product Support Teams. Hopefully, with your help, we could get the files that are made when a device reboots unexpectedly.
I have reached out but Garmin does not contact me. Same problem, having it since bought new (FW 2.60 and still now FW 2.80) in May. I'm now trying through my retailer. But this is really bad for a GBP 500 rangefinder. Crashes at least twice per 9 holes.

I have the same problem. Got a new device from the store that I bought it since the first one didn't work but it's the same problem with the new one. I've tried to upgrade with new software but now it freezes twice a round instead of once
