Please sync your Approach S40 through the Golf APP and see if your weather shows more accurately again. If you have the Connect Mobile APP installed too, please manually sync in the GCM APP too.

My s40 will work if I set garmin connect weather to "set location ', but it shows Afghanistan if I set it to use my phone location. I live in Wisconsin. I guess that works, but if I'd rather know the temperature in my location.

Golf engineering got back to me and stated that the cause of the issue continues to be worked on. Once the issue is resolved, all customers that have been added to the tracking case will be emailed by our Outdoor Helpdesk team.
I am sorry we do not have an estimated time of completion. Meanwhile, the workaround will be to use the weather widget on your smartphone.
Mine still isn't working. I've turned it off. I traded my s20 for the s40. S20 worked great. Not impressrd with the s40!
