Please sync your Approach S40 through the Golf APP and see if your weather shows more accurately again. If you have the Connect Mobile APP installed too, please manually sync in the GCM APP too.

I've been having the same issue (even after doing a fresh install of the phone software after upgrading my phone)
Turn off your weather app notifications on your linked phone. Then resync the watch to the phone

I am also having the same problem. Using the android version of the Golf App.
I've found that the weather shows correctly after opening the connect app, syncing, and then keeping the connect app open in the background

at times the weather is still not correct. don't think the garmin app is running in the background all the time. if i sync the app then the weather will be correct
did this last night and did not work, but retried this morning and so far so good. Will let you know if issue continues.
