I have found no information online as to what this means, but I downloaded Garmin Express on my Windows computer and it seems to be able to sync through this desktop software. It would be nice to also be able to sync using my iPhone in the future. I would be interested to know if you find a solution.

This issue has since been resolved. If you are still experiencing it, please ensure:
- Your Approach S20 software is up to date and both your Golf APP and Garmin Connect Mobile APP are up to date on your iPhone.
I can confirm that (in my case) after doing the updates my Garmin Approach S20 is now syncing perfectly to my iPhone. Thank you very much for the quick resolution!
