CT10 and SuperStroke Putter Grips

Anyone know how to attach CT10 Club Sensor to SuperStroke Putter grip as they have a metal weight at the top and can't find a way to screw in the sensor to count putts.

  • I also sanded down the bottom of CT10 and purchased The Oversize Putter Attachment* (SKU: 900-00072).

    https://store.blastmotion.com/store/accessories/oversized-putter-attachment-option-b/

It is a black golf rubber attachment that slips over the end of the oversize putter grip. The oversize putter attachment fits Super Stroke and most oversize putter grips.

    It fits perfect.

  • What size drill piece did you use and did you remove the weight first?

  • 5,5 mm. I did not remove the weight. I a second stage i put some grip tape between the head of the grip and the CT10. With the solvent off course. I’m thinking of doing this with all my clubs now. Specifically because single CT10 are not for sale. If you loose one you have to buy at least 3 pieces.
    good luck.

  • Had the same issue - I glued mine with silicone sealant.

Unscrew and remove the Superstroke cap with an Allen key ( Hex Key). Get some silicone sealant (clear) from your local hardware store. Fill the cap end with silicone and the indent in the bottom of the CT10 (around the threaded spindle) with silicon. Places the CT10 on the top of the putter. Push down and ensure the sensor is centred. wipe away any excess. Leave to dry overnight.

You'll have a very solid firm fixing that will still allow you to change the battery when you need to. It's easy to remove if you change you mind and won't destroy the putter grip or the sensor.

  • Thank you for the tip.  I ordered both the A and B options because I really like the clear one, but we'll see which one fits.

  • Which one worked best? I'm also considering buying the Blashmotion attachment for my Superstroke 3.0.

  • Both fit fine and A looks the best for me, but I'm using B as it's a bit more snug.  I just used some pliars to cut off  the stem and left only a 1/4 left of it so if I ever wanted to screw it in, it would still work.

  • Did you notice the sensor not powering on b/c it was not exposed to light with the B option? Apparently, the sensor uses light and being upright for working. I asked Garmin this question, and didn't really get a straight answer. Because I upgraded my putter grip, I put my putter CT sensor in my golf bag until I could figure out a good way to connect it. I noticed that the sensor was still connecting to my S60 watch from inside the golf bag even though it was not exposed to light. Curious of your experience.

    Thanks Scott!

  • no issues at all with using the B option with it recognizing that I'm putting.  My watch (fenix 6) shows a notification when the club wakes up and It's always consistent with my putter.  Registers as normal (tap ins generally don't register).

  • Great, thanks, looks like I got my solution! Yeah, even with the sensor properly attached it misses the tap ins. Appreciate the quick response Scott!
