Montana 700i Cannot Unlock Map

Today, MY Montan 700i asked if I want to update. I was out in the field and I said yes. Now I get the screen "Cannot Unlock Map: D9643050A, which I believe is City Navigator North America.

On my files under Garmin it shows the followng:

Garmin
D9643050A.img
D9644050A.img
GPX
SQL
id.txt

Everything was purchased via Garmin on my 700i.
In Garmin Express it shows in the purchased area, no content.

How can I fix this warning?

Hello I would recommend first seeing "Can't Unlock Maps" Message on a Garmin Outdoor Handheld. If you go into Garmin Express to the purchased tab please make sure it indicates you are signed in and that you are signing in with the same email address account you purchased the maps under.

I have the same issue.

logged in and followed another suggestion to eject the device after the downloads. I have 10 hours into trying to solve this.

I have noticed that same issue of not able to eject Garmin after downloading some Geocaches. My SD card is able to Eject, but not my Garmin. I've tried it over and over without success. It states that it cannot dismount because another file is using the Garmin. The only item that might be using the file is my Finder, which is always being used by my Mac computer. There is only three ways to get my Garmin Device off of my computer. 1) Pull the USB coord out (shows warning), 2) Force Quit 3) let my computer go to sleep, then it will stop the device and auto eject, (also shows a warning).

This seems to have started after updating to Sequoia 15.
