Torch flashes when first turning on

Is it normal for the torch to flash once when you first turn the Montana 700 on?

Hi, the Garim 700 has a torch feature, when you turn the unit on or plug into USB the torch itself flashes quite brightly and you can hear an electrical noise. I will try and video when I get home. Thanks

I’ve taken a short video. I understand from a Garmin sub dealer that this is a known issue / fault with firmware 19.0?
