i am having s simmilar problem, i normaly use it in a powered mount, out side snowmobiling, so i gets some charge if its warm, or it runs on battery, when i put it on to charge , i press the power button, that then shows me the battery % on the screem, the same as my Rino radio, once at 100% i simply unplug the radio or the montana700i, i can go back to the radio a week later and its at 100% the montana will be dead, i have tried, powering it up and then off after the charge still the same thing, it seems something is running even when its powered down, i just charged it on thursday, checked it today sunday its at 33% i going to charge it now and take the battery our and leave it for a couple of days and see, has anyone talked to garmin about this
