Routing calculation on Base Camp differs on Device

Maps on GPSr are not the same.

I plug device in and use the Topo map that is installed on device.

No local map on pc

OK, then next option is that the routing preferences in BaseCamp do not match the routing preferences on the GPSr, and that is causing the different routes.

Most users send the route TWICE, once with routing, and once direct, so they can have both options on the GPSr. One will follow exactly as shown in BC, the other will allow the device to change the routing.... The user picks the one that works best for them at the time.

Many users also will convert the non direct route into a track and send that track as well, so they can enable it on the GPSr  and see if the GPSr takes them away from the pre-determined route....

Yes I can navigate it fine if I save it in DIRECT and set the GPS Routing to direct.
If I get the same route on BC in direct mode it change the profile to OffRoading it looks great as it has more points.
If I get the same Direct route on the GPSr and select OffRoad it just doesn't look the same.
GPSr OffRoading Profile is different somewhere.
I will stick to the DIRECT way.
