How do I remove my inreach Mini 2 from my garmin account?

I am selling my Inreach and want to be sure it is removed from my account. I have removed it from Garmin Express but I am not sure that removes it from my account.

Log into your Garmin account, select Profile > Products.

Then go to https://explore.garmin.com/Devices

and look over your subscriptions and settings.

You should also factory reset the device, removing all user data. Instructions vary according to the device. This link is for the Messenger, which is one of the more complicated cases (because of the mess with the Messenger app and your cell number).

The corresponding articles for other devices are difficult to find. The principle is the same for ALL of them. Factory reset. If you have an option to keep or delete user data, be sure to delete user data.

Performing a Factory Reset on the inReach Mini 2

From the home page, press OK to open the main menu.
Select Settings.
Select System.
Select Reset Device.
Select Delete Data and Reset Settings.
The inReach will reset and reboot to the activation page. Hold down the Power button to power down the device.
