Maybe people are answering your preset messages and the replies you receive are charged to your plan?
You will be charged for every message you receive on the device. That includes replies to preset messages.
You will be charged for every message sent from the device EXCEPT for preset messages.
Exactly, that is what I meant. Initially I was surprised by this, so I can image the same thing happened to 3322966. He/she might think the charges are for the preset messages whereas they are actually for the replies.
I haven’t receive any messages and only ever sent preset messages so that’s not it
If you have received a BILL which shows charges for preset messages, contact customer support.
If you have NOT received a bill yet, don't worry about it. ALL of the data regarding charges (everywhere on the Garmin web sites) is wrong. The bill is the only thing that matters. And the only thing that is likely to be correct.
